Description
The spectacular Comet NEOWISE (C/2020 F3) graced our skies in 2020 as the brightest northern comet since Hale–Bopp. Discovered by the NEOWISE mission in March 2020, it was widely photographed by professional and amateur observers alike. It even pierced urban light pollution, offering a rare naked-eye wonder. Â
Â
For northern observers it was visible below the Big Dipper, as a beacon in the night. As it journeyed further on its elliptical voyage towards the constellation of Coma Berenices, NEOWISE captivated our hearts and telescopes under the summer sky. Â
Â
This extraordinary celestial passer-by will not be seen again for another 7000 years but can now be yours to admire forever.Â
