Description

The Sun, is our celestial anchor and the heart of the solar system. For approximately 4.6 billion years, this G-type main-sequence star has been fusing hydrogen into helium to become a constant beacon of light and warmth in our small part of the universe.  

Common to us and insignificant in the scale of the universe, our mother star is a marvel of nuclear power, fuelling life and inspiring endless curiosity in the quest to understand the cosmos. 

Besides the Sun, the Moon is the most prominent object in the Earth’s sky. It is also  our only natural satellite, a beacon in our night sky, a force of nature giving shape to the seasons and highly influencing how we understand and organize time. It has been our silent companion, guiding explorers and dreamers alike on earth and – perhaps – on our journey to extraterrestrial worlds.
